Data Analytics Manager
Chris Aleman is the Data Analytics Manager at Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative (GVEC), where he leads a team of data analysts and data engineers to deliver insights that drive data-driven decision-making and optimize business processes. A Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Chris is also Co-Leader of the San Antonio Fabric+ User Group, where he helps foster community learning and collaboration. He is an active voice in the data community, having presented at Community Summit NA 2024, Spark 2024 hosted by the Alamo Regional Data Alliance, and multiple industry events. In addition, he is a returning speaker at the Fabric & Power BI Summit hosted by RADACAD, where he has presented for two consecutive years. Outside of data, Chris enjoys traveling the world with his wife-they have visited 22 countries and logged over 61,000 miles together. At home, they share their lives with a lively family of pets, including five cats, two dogs, a turtle, and a school of fish.
