Emmanuel (Manu) Huygens is a data engineer specializing in cloud and data solutions with Microsoft Azure and Fabric. At KPMG, he designs secure, scalable architectures that deliver real-time data pipelines, ETL/ELT pipelines using medallion architectures for secondary research use cases, and API middleware for live patient data integration using Azure Functions. Manu also develops AI-driven insights for regulated industries and has deep expertise in the Dutch healthcare IT landscape, including interoperability standards and compliance frameworks. He is certified in advanced openEHR clinical modeling, attends FHIR DevDays, and builds solutions aligned with GDPR and NEN7510. Passionate about leveraging data for impact, Manu combines technical depth with business acumen to improve care delivery. Outside work, he enjoys fitness, hiking, and windsurfing.
