Derek is a Principal Program Manager (PM) in the Azure Data platform team at Microsoft. He is a Microsoft Certified Master (MCM) who started his Microsoft career as a Rapid Response Engineering (RRE)/Premier Field Engineering team member. Derek's PM contributions have primarily been focused on SQL Server on Linux, Query Processing, and T-SQL enhancements.
